"Swept Away", en España, "Barridos por la Marea y en Argentina, "Insolito Destino", es una comedia romántica dirigida por Guy Ritchie, realizada en 2002 y protagonizada por su esposa Madonna, Adriano Giannini y Bruce Greenwood. El filme fue considerado un fracaso comercial y ganó cinco premios Razzie Awards: "Peor película", "Peor actriz" - Madonna, "Peor pareja en la pantalla" - Madonna y Adriano Giannini, "Peor remake o secuela" y "Peor director" - Guy Ritchie . Se trataba de un remake del filme italiano de 1974 Travolti da un insolito destino nell'azzurro mare d'agosto (Insólita aventura de verano, de Lina Wertmüller).
Amber Leighton, protagonizada por Madonna, es una rica, caprichosa, arrogante mujer que es invitada a un crucero privado de Grecia a Italia por su marido Tony (Greenwood). Una tempestad deja a Amber en una isla desierta junto al mozo de la nave, Gisuseppe (Giannini), un marinero comunista de quien ella se va a ir enamorando.

Amber Leighton, payed by Madonna, is 40, beautiful, rich, spoiled, and arrogant beyond measure. Nothing makes this woman happy, including her wealthy but passive husband, Tony (Greenwood), a pharmaceutical kingpin. When Tony takes her on a private cruise from Greece to Italy, Amber is unimpressed at this impromptu no-frills vacation, and takes out her anger on the ship's first mate, Giuseppe (Giannini). When a storm leaves the two shipwrecked on a deserted island, however, the tables suddenly turn, with both parties eventually falling in love. They live on a deserted island with Giuseppe demanding Amber to be his servant if she wants to survive on the island. The duo fight a lot. In one instance Amber thinks that Peppe (Giuseppe) is looking at her behind while she was washing clothes and Peppe asks, "What you feel uncomfortable? You did the same way with your husband, making out, like we servants were not there." He demands that she undress and she refuses. She pushes him and runs away. Ths continues and the duo eventually fall in love. Until destruction arrives in the form of a boat.
The film was awarded five awards at the 2002 Golden Raspberry Awards: Worst Picture, Worst Actress - Madonna, Worst Screen Couple - Madonna and Giannini, Worst Remake or Sequel and Worst Director - Guy Ritchie.
