El autor Andrew Sean Greer ha revelado que Madonna ha arrebatado los derechos de su libro 'The Impossible Live Of Greta Wells' aunque todavía no está claro si ella sólo la producirá u obtendrá un papel importante en la producción. “Recibí una llamada telefónica la semana pasada ... creo que está bien. No hay nadie que me haya preguntado acerca de esto ... de una celebridad que leyó el libro y le gustó tanto que me llamó personalmente para hablar conmigo sobre esto”.
Y es fácil ver por qué Madonna podría tener curiosidad acerca de este, ya que es un material de película. 
'The Impossible Lives Of Greta Wells', es una historia con entusiasmo romántico de una mujer que se encuentra a sí misma transportada "otras vidas" que podría haber vivido.
Después de la muerte de su querido hermano gemelo y el abandono de su amante desde hace mucho tiempo, Greta Wells se somete a una terapia de electroshock. En el transcurso del tratamiento, Greta se encuentra a sí misma enviada varias veces a 1918, 1941, y de vuelta al presente. Una historia muy similar a W.E. de 2011, la película dirigida por Madonna y protagonizada por Andrea Riseborough, James D'Arcy, Abbie Cornish, Richard Coyle y Oscar Isaac. / 


Author Andrew Sean Greer has revealed that Madonna has snapped up the rights to his book “The Impossible Lives Of Greta Wells,” though it’s not yet clear if she’ll just produce, or take on a bigger role in the production. “I got a phone call last week…I think it’s fine. No one’s asked me about this… from a celebrity who read the book and loved it so much she called me up personally to talk to me about it”.
And it’s easy to see why Madonna might be curious about this one as movie material.
'The Impossible Lives Of Greta Wells', is a rapturously romantic story of a woman who finds herself transported to the “other lives” she might have lived.
After the death of her beloved twin brother and the abandonment of her long-time lover, Greta Wells undergoes electroshock therapy. Over the course of the treatment, Greta finds herself repeatedly sent to 1918, 1941, and back to the present. A very similar story to W.E., 2011, directed by Madonna and starring Andrea Riseborough, James D'Arcy, Abbie Cornish, Richard Coyle and Oscar Isaac.
