MADONNA MOVED INTO 18th CENTURY LISBON PALACE.
Se dice que Madonna contrató un palacio durante un año con la primera opción de comprarlo si ella y su familia se han adaptado a la vida en la capital portuguesa después de los 12 meses terminados.
Madonna y sus hijos se hospedaban previamente en un lujoso hotel de Lisboa después de mudarse en Agosto pasado a la ciudad europea para apoyar la carrera futbolística de su hijo David, de 12 años.
El palacio consiste en un hotel boutique que cuenta con 12 habitaciones y suites, y aunque el personal no quiso hacer comentarios sobre si Madonna había convertido el lugar en su residencia, confirmaron que era "imposible" realizar una reserva en ese momento para cualquiera de las habitaciones.
La revista portuguesa Flash informó que la cantante ordenó el lunes en la residencia siete pollos asados, arroz y papas para ella, sus hijos y el personal.
Poco después, se dice que dos de los guardaespaldas de Madonna abandonaron el palacio para recoger a su hija de 11 años, Mercy, de la escuela.
Se cree que se realizaron algunos trabajos en la propiedad, con características destacadas que incluyen una piscina climatizada a la sombra de una enorme palmera en el jardín, antes de que dejara de funcionar como un hotel boutique. /
Madonna is said to have hired a palace for a year with first option to buy it if she and her family have adapted to life in the Portuguese capital after the 12 months are up.
Madonna and her children were previously staying in a luxury Lisbon hotel after relocating to the European city, last August, to support 12-year-old son David's football career.
The palace and townhouse, has since been refurbished into a boutique hotel that boasts 12 rooms and suites, and whilst staff declined to comment on whether Madonna had made the place her residence, they confirmed it was 'impossible' to take any bookings at the moment for any of the rooms.
Portuguese magazine Flash reported the singer ordered in seven roasted chickens, rice and potatoes for herself, her children and staff on Monday at the residence.
Shortly afterwards two of Madonna’s bodyguards were said to have left the palace to pick up her 11-year-old daughter Mercy from school
Some work is believed to have taken place at the property, with highlight features including a heated swimming pool in the shade of a huge palm tree in the garden, before it ceased functioning as a boutique-hotel.
