Madonna llegó a la empobrecida nación del sur de África, situado entre Mozambique, Zambia y Tanzania, el Lunes 1ero de Abril a visitar las escuelas que ella ha construido con la organización llamada BuildOn.
Madonna llevó a sus cuatro hijos en el día de ayer, Miércoles 3 de Abril, a un orfanato famoso en el centro de Malawi, donde en 2006, adoptó a David Banda de siete años de edad. Madonna había visitado por última vez el 'Hogar de la Esperanza' hace tres años.
La cantante también recibió informes sobre cómo el apoyo financiero que ha proporcionado el orfanato desde 2007 han ayudado a los hasta 500 niños allí.
En 2009, Madonna también adoptó a Mercy James, ahora de siete años en otro orfanato de Malawi.
Madonna dijo eser feliz de estar de regreso en el orfanato 'Hogar de la Esperanza', ubicado en el distrito occidental de Mchinji, cerca de la frontera con Zambia.
“Estoy feliz de que David esté de regreso para ver a sus hermanos y hermanas”, dijo.

Madonna arrived in the poor southern African nation, sandwiched between Mozambique, Zambia and Tanzania, on Monday, April 1st to visit the schools she has built with the organisation called BuildOn.
Madonna took her four children yesterday Wednesday, April 3rd to a famous orphanage in central Malawi, from where she adopted one of them, seven-year-old David Banda in 2006. Madonna last visited the 'Home of Hope' three years ago.
The singer also received reports on how the financial support she has provided the orphanage since 2007 have helped the up to 500 children there.
In 2009, Madonna also adopted Mercy James, now aged seven, from another Malawian orphanage.
Madonna is happy to be back in the orphanage 'Home of Hope', located in the western district of Mchinji, near the border with Zambia.
“I'm happy that David is back to see his brothers and sisters” said.
Madonna and her children are going to visit a pediatric hospital today and another orphanage tomorrow.
