MADONNA DEFENDS SEAN PENN AND SAYS HE NEVER HIT HER IN THE PAST.
Madonna ha salido en defensa de Sean Penn, con quien estuvo casada de 1985 a 1989. Madonna ha presentado nuevos documentos legales el ayer en la Corte Suprema de Manhattan alegando que contrariamente a los rumores sensacionalistas persistentes nunca fue agredida físicamente por Penn durante su matrimonio.
“Soy consciente de las acusaciones que han surgido en los últimos años acusando a Sean de incidentes de asalto físico y abuso contra mí”, afirmó en su declaración. “Específicamente, estoy al tanto de las denuncias relativas a un supuesto incidente que se produjo en Junio de 1987, mediante el cual (según informes de la prensa sensacionalista), Sean supuestamente me pegó con un bate de béisbol. Sé que los alegatos en esos y otros informes son completamente indignantes, maliciosos, inconsiderados, y falsos”. /
Madonna has defended Sean Penn, with whom she was married from 1985 to 1989. Madonna has filed new legal documents on Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court claiming that contrary to persistent tabloid rumors she was never physically assaulted by Penn during their marriage.
“I am aware of the allegations that have surfaced over the years accusing Sean of incidents of physical assault and abuse against me,” she stated in her declaration. “Specifically, I am aware of the allegations concerning an alleged incident that occurred in June, 1987, whereby (according to tabloid reports), Sean allegedly struck me with a baseball bat. I know the allegations in those and other reports to be completely outrageous, malicious, reckless, and false.”
