MADONNA NOT ALLOWEDTO PERFORM 'HOLY WATER' IN SINGAPORE.
Mediacorp VizPro confirmó definitivamente que Madonna irá a Singapur con su Rebel Heart Tour el próximo 28 de Febrero.
No obstante, según Media Development Authority (Autoridad de Desarrollo de Medios), no se le permitirá llevar a cabo 'Holy Water'.
Un portavoz de Media Development Authority dice en un comunicado:
"El Rebel Heart Tour de Madonna ha sido calificado R18, ya que contiene contenido sexual sugestivo que es más adecuado para los adultos. Esto se refleja en la información al consumidor para que el público pueda tomar una decisión informada. El organizador del concierto debe cumplir con los términos de la licencia, que establece que el concierto no debe contener contenido o materiales que ofenden a cualquier raza o religión, y que el desempeño general debe estar dentro de las directrices de la calificación R18. Se hicieron ajustes menores para garantizar condiciones de licencia R18 que podrían alcanzarse sin comprometer la entrega de un primer nivel y desempeño de clase mundial. La orden de ejecución final y el set list establecido para el desempeño de Singapur serán determinados por el artista y reveladas en el espectáculo en sí dentro de los lineamientos establecidos." /
Mediacorp VizPro finally confirmed that Madonna will go to Singapore on February 28th.
However, according to Media Development Authority, Madonna will not be allowed to perform 'Holy Water'.
An MDA spokesperson says in a statement:
"Madonna’s upcoming Rebel Heart Tour concert has been rated R18 as it contains sexually suggestive content which is more suitable for adults.
This is reflected in the consumer advice so that the public can make an informed choice.
The concert organiser must comply with the terms of the license, which states that the concert should not contain content or materials which offend any race or religion, and that the performance overall must fall within the guidelines of the R18 rating.
Minor adjustments were made to ensure R18 licensing conditions could be met without compromise to the delivery of a first-rate and world-class performance.
The final running order and set list for the Singapore performance will be determined by the artiste and revealed at the show itself within the set guidelines."
